500 thousand years were spent on League of Legends streams and more on Twitch last year

Massive numbers were revealed in the latest statics about the most famous streaming service right now Twitch, which had an amazing year in 2015. Apparently, we’ve watched close to 459.000 years of Esports and multiplayer games last year.

The service had an average of 1.7 million broadcasters streaming every month, and 241.4 billion minutes of those streams were watched. While the average concurrent viewers for the year hit 550,000, it was the impressive peak concurrent users on August 23 hit 2.09 million when ESL One: Cologne 2015 took place.

You might be wondering.. what were those games that took so much of our time in 2015? The answer was answered (no pun intended) as well in the top 10 games Twitch hosted in 2015, and they are:

  1. League of Legends
  2. Counter Strike: Global Offensive
  3. Dota 2
  4. Hearthstone
  5. Minecraft
  6. H1Z1
  7. Destiny
  8. World of Tanks
  9. World of Warcraft
  10. FIFA 15
