Dragon Age: Inquisition is Bioware’s most successful launch ever

According to the latest earnings calls of EA for Q3 2015, multi-award RPG game Dragon Age: Inquisition saw the most successful launch in Bioware’s history so far.

“In particular, Dragon Age: Inquisition had by far the most successful launch in BioWare’s history, exceeding our expectations. In addition, game sales for last-generation consoles were also much stronger than we had anticipated,”

No specific number was given for how many units were sold of the third entry in the fantasy RPG franchise but “most successful launch” is based on the game’s overall performance in sales, according to an EA representative.

Dragon Age: Inquisition released last year for PC, PS3/4 and Xbox 360/One and was met with an overwhelmingly positive reception that led the title to be 2014’s Game of The Year.
