Metal Gear Solid movie is in the works at Sony Pictures

Remember that Metal Gear Solid movie we were told was coming ? it now belongs to Sony Pictures as it had disclosed the deal on the rights to make the movie. It also has a producer, director and a story writer as of now.

We don’t know yet which Snake story will it tell. It was rumored that the events of the movie will be those of the Shadow Moses island in the first game. The production of the movie has now started under the supervision of Jordan Vogt-Roberts as the director, Jay Basu as the story writer and Michael De Luca handling the production.

No additional information were revealed as the work had just begun, but we will undoubtedly hear more about it in the upcoming months hoping that this adaption of the series into the big screen is as good as the game deserves.
