Activision officially announces Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

As promised, Activision unveiled the curtains on this year’s Call of Duty iteration. To no surprise this is the Black Ops 3 that have been being teased all the week by Treyarch. But we got to see the very first trailer this time in addition to many new info so check it out.

The most prominent feature of this year’s CoD game is the possibility of playing the campaign in four-way Co-op. Which is definitely a new take to the series. You can also change the gender of your character so it’s also possibly the first CoD game to feature a female lead. The other 3 squad mates can either be AI-controlled or your own friends.

The inclusion of this kind of multiplayer into the main campaign itself required different map design than before. Maps will now be big enough to allow freedom of all four players. New movement system will be introduced as well although it looks really similar to the Exo Skeleton we saw in last year’s Advanced Warfare, but with few new additions like keeping the weapon ready while climbing and having a gauge for the super jump.

As for the Online multiplayer there will be 9 different Classes you can choose from. Each can be upgraded via special abilities obtained that will make every player unique. The Zombie mode will make a return here with an all-new XP progression system and its own narrative.

“We’re going to deliver a totally unique, mind-blowing creative. It’s not like anything in the campaign and it’s not like anything in the multiplayer. It’s its own game that ships with Black Ops 3.

System Requirements for the PC version have been revealed as well. Which is really surprising considering almost no game would show the requirements straight off of the bat. But here they are anyway, can you run it?
