The International gathers the most prize money this year

If you’re a dedicated player of the most famous MOBA game on the planet “Dota 2”, you’re probably familiar with how the biggest event of that game called “The International” works. The prize money for this year’s tournament gathered mostly by buying Compendiums have reached its highest peaks ever.

The previous record holder was last year’s tournament which gathered a $10.9 million dollars grand prize. While this year, the prize pool reached about $11.4 million dollars so far, and it’s not even done raising money yet! The International is still a bit far away as it takes place in August.

This year’s event is happening in Seattle again, where all of the Esports professionals will compete to get this amazing prize.
