Konami completely removes Hideo Kojima’s name from the MGS V cover art

Another chapter in the on-going internal fight between Konami and Kojima. After it has been almost confirmed that Kojima will be leaving as well as his team after their contract expire with the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, looks like the most popular game maker won’t have his name on the cover of the game box as we previously believed.

Internet users noticed the absence of “A Hideo Kojima Game” on the official box art everywhere by Konami. Kojima Productions logo was removed as well, and it all happened without saying anything which annoyed the fans once again.

Anyway, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is coming in less than two months for the PS3/4 and Xbox One/360 September 1 and for PC in 15 of the same month, and it’ll be the finale to the series according to Kojima.
