Kojima and del Toro planning for their next project together
Konami broke the hearts of millions of fans with the cancellation of Silent Hills, the project that was being made by Hollywood director del Toro and legendary game developer Hideo Kojima. But it wasn’t the end for these two’s collaboration.
In an interview with del Toro by one of the websites, he said the duo are already planning for their next game. It won’t be Silent Hills but it will be something that messes with the players’ heads in similar way.
“We are still friends and working into doing something together, but that’s not going to be [Silent Hills],”
“One of the great moments in Metal Gear [Solid] was Psycho Mantis,” he used as an example. “The idea that a game can actually interact with you, and stuff like that.”
The fate of Hideo Kojima creator of Metal Gear is still unknown to this point, but looks like at least we have something coming up from him to look forward to when he leaves Konami and say goodbye to Metal Gear franchise.
