Halo 5’s campaign is twice as long as Halo 4
When 343 Industries said that the next installment of Halo is going to be bigger in every way, they weren’t kidding. Apparently, the campaign’s length in Halo 5: Guardians is going to be twice as long as Halo 4’s.
In a recent Interview at Gamescom, a studio representative said that the Story Mode in Halo 5 is going to be twice as big as Halo 4, and it’s going to visit Humans, Convenant and Forerunner locations. Even though this already sounds really big but you’ll be surprised the studio originally planned for it to be even bigger but had to scale it down.
The whole story mode will be played with a team of 4, either 3 more human players in addition to the player or AI-controlled. The environments are going to be the biggest in the series to date and the multiplayer will house the largest Halo map ever created in 12v12 Warzone mode.
Two new gameplay trailers were shown at Gamescom, the first of which shows Arena multiplayer while the second shows a section of the Master Chief campaign, watch below:
Halo 5: Guardians is coming exclusively on Xbox One October 27.
