Competitive Call of Duty scene to move to Sony’s PS4

Until very recently, the name of “Call of Duty” had always been connected to Microsoft’s Xbox One with its competitive tournaments and scenes. That’s about to change with the release of upcoming Black Ops 3 when the competition will be handled on a PS4 instead.

When Sony announced at E3 this year that Playstation is going to be “The new home of Call of Duty”, they weren’t kidding. In addition to getting all of the released DLC for the game first, the Playstation 4 console will be used in all of the pro Esports competitions from now on, ditching the green-themed arenas in favor for blue ones.

Will this move help Sony’s console to secure its place in the lead of home consoles market? What does Microsoft have in its sleeves to make for their loss? Let’s wait and see.
