The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt exceeds 6 million units in sales

Polish developer CD Projekt RED has announced that the number of sold units for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has now exceeded 6 million, giving the amazing RPG a new feat.

The number of sold units on all three platforms is more than 6 million units on the course of 6 weeks from launch, with GOG’s share of those units counting for 1 million. The studio surely made its money back, all of the 53 million pounds spent in making the game.

Two new expansions are in development and are two times larger than the second game in the series. As for the free DLC content, all of the 16 DLCs are now available.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
