Japanese release date for Dark Souls III revealed

As promised by From Software, Dark Souls 3 will debut Early 2016 according to the recently revealed Japanese release date for the game.

Release dates aren’t usually that different from one region to the another, so we should be expecting Dark Souls 3 to be out worldwide a few days after the Japanese date which is set to be March 24 next year. This date is for the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game however, the PC release is to be announced later on.

Dark Souls 3 is the last game in the series of its current shape. Miyazaki previously said upcoming games in this franchise might be different than what we got used to and will feature different time periods. Just recently, a trademark by the name of “Slashy Souls” was filled and it might indicate that the next game might be already in planning stage.
