Planning for Halo 6 has already started

Development team at “343” discussed the future of the series and talked about how the next game is already being planned, even before the release of Halo 5: Guardians. As they came to know what’s going to happen next in the story.

In fact, Xbox president Phil Spencer talked a few days back that Halo franchise is going to continue for 20 years under the right management so it’s no surprise that Halo 6 is already being planned. However, that doesn’t mean we’re seeing it soon; Halo 5: Guardians development isn’t even finished yet.

“We do kind of know what’s going to happen in the next game pretty well at this point, We’re doing serious real planning and even some writing on the next game already, and that’s a luxury – we’ve never been in that position before. So we both know at a very high level what’s going to happen in, say, ten years from now”

Halo 5: Guardians is coming to Xbox One exclusively on October 27.
