Rockstar didn’t even think of a PC port of Red Dead Redemption
One of Rockstar’s past employees who’d work on the multiplayer portion of Red Dead Redemption, one of the most important last-gen titles had spoke on the matter of a PC version of the game. Many PC owners are still hopeful that one day they might get the highly-praised game that was released in 2010 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
“I don’t think there was ever an intention to have a PC version of Red Dead Redemption, I was actually super shocked that they did a PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5.” Said Kris Roberts during a livestream of his. “To the best of my recollection, we never even seriously talked about optimizing it for PC.”
Does this mean that we should finally let go of our hopes that Rockstar’s open-world would finally land on PC? We don’t know the firm’s plans yet but we’ve heard that a sequel isn’t something forgotten and Rockstar will consider it sooner or later.
