Next Battlefield game is in the works

Good news, Battlefield fans! DICE confirmed that development of the next Battlefield game is coming together

Development director Dan Vanderlind, who worked on Star Wars Battlefront has now moved on to his next project, and it’s non other than Battlefield.

Now that we've shipped Battlefront and a part of the team continues to work on it, I am moving on to another project, the next Battlefield..

We previously saw that a new Battlefield game is set for 2016, but this is the first time we hear of it from DICE confirming that this might be a main entry after the spin-off that was Hardline, developed by Visceral Games.
