Final Fantasy VII Remake will be fully voiced says director
This new announcement might not be that surprising for those who’ve seen the new Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer last PSX, but game director confirmed officially through an interview that the game will be fully voiced for all characters… goodbye texts.
In the original PS1 release in 1997, we got used to seeing dialogues through texts between characters. The remake however is set to change that, according to Tetsuya Nomura the new gen of games requires this change.
“Basically, it will be fully voiced,” Nomura told the magazine. “We still haven’t decided the voices of the characters that weren’t in Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children.”
As we previously knew, the dev team is looking into going deeper into characters and explore more stories, so the voice acting might add to that.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is still without a release date, and it comes first for PS4 then other consoles episodically.
