He requested a PlayStation 4, but got this piece of wood

Looks like the Holidays weren’t happy for everyone, especially this family in Massachusetts, USA. There’s no doubt that this boy’s story is gonna stick with him for a long while.

The story that was reported in the news reveals that a nine-years old boy got his Christmas present, presumably a PlayStation 4 console with the Uncharted bundle, but instead it was a piece of wood the size of a console with a dirty drawing on its surface that was left by the prankster, who probably replaced the original bundle before returning it. This caused quite the shock to the boy and made the whole thing appear on the news.

“He’s crying and he’s upset and he’s in the playroom by himself and he just wants to be alone so at that point. I was crushed,” Lundy’s step-mother Kristin Lundy told the news site.

The console was bought from a Target store, which in turn when hearing the news gave the family a brand new PS4 and a $100 gift coupon, but the damage had already been done to the boy who lost faith in Santa.

This isn’t the first time we hear a similar story, as another man was once surprised to find a couple of stones instead of his new PS4 when he got home, and another received a picture of the Xbox One when ordering the device from Amazon.
