First gameplay trailer of the new Call of Duty at E3 2016
We can’t say that we didn’t expect this, but Activision recently confirmed that we will indeed see the first details on the new Call of Duty at this year’s E3.
We won’t get a regular announcement only, but also a gameplay reveal of the upcoming Call of Duty annual release developed by Infinity Ward. Official announcement will be made at Sony’s conference this year which is also expected given that it now owns the commercial rights for the franchise.
“We’re looking forward to sharing exciting new details about the next great Call of Duty game in partnership with our friends at PlayStation. We’re proud to be participating in this premier video game event, but won’t have an Activision booth on the show floor.”
In related news, Activision isn’t going to E3 this year which explains why they’re showing the new game at Sony’s. Some leaks indicate that the new title is Ghosts 2 that had been in works for three years now given the new cycle of Call of Duty games between Treyarch, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer.
