
Turner and IMG announce the biggest CS: GO tournament yet with 1.2$ million prize
In just a few weeks since Valve announcement of upping the prize pool of upcoming CS: GO Major to a million dollars, looks like the title of the largest prize in this game had already shifted hands with the announcement of Turner Broadcasting System and International Management Group.
The new season of ELEAGUE event has a prize of $1.2 million with 18 competing teams from professionals around the globe. So far, only teams have been revealed and they are Counter Logic Gaming, Cloud9, Ninjas in Pyjamask Renegades, and Mousesports. Optic Gaming joins as well after beating Lounge Gaming last month during the Road to Vegas qualifiers.
ELEAGUE starts May 24 and will have online live coverage as well as being broadcasted on TBS weekely. More teams will be announced on the official website in the upcoming few weeks.
