More than 10 thousand copies of Minecraft sold everyday

A new report by The New York Times revealed the enormous amount of copies that are being sold from the game Minecraft, one of the most popular and influential titles on the internet currently. About 10 thousand copies are being purchased every day across all platforms of the game.

According to Microsoft, 40% of the total player base are actually female gamers. The average age of Minecraft fans was found to be 28-29 years old, unlike what we all think in the game being kids friendly.

According to some studies Minecraft plays a big role in many kids educational life in this age. Its lack of tutorial and help as well as its mechanics proved to be useful to the brains of those children.
