Gearbox Studios have announced the new installment of the game that got praised by critics all around the world , Borderlands , you can watch the first trailer for it down below .

The new addition to the Borderlands Series , called ‘Borderlands: The Pre-sequel” , is as its name indicates .. a presequel which takes place in the story between the first two games, with the events happening on the moon surface where you’ll fight aliens and other weird monsters.

The studio confirmed that the new game is coming to the last-gen consoles , PS3,Xbox360 to the addition of PC, stating that the reason behind the absence of a PS4 and Xbox One versions is due to the fact that there is not a big fanbase on those systems yet , and that the majority of Borderlands players are still using the older consoles , so it’s only logical to release Borderlands: Pre-sequel for the big fanbase that exists on PS3 and Xbox360.
