Russian Embassy in UK publishes pictures from Generals video game, says it’s terrorists supplies
Funny moments like these keep happening where an official institute mistakenly uses a picture from a video game and this time it’s Russia’s turn. We saw last month how a Call of Duty crashed helicopter made a reporter contact some prankster, but it’s now more official with the Twitter account of the Russian Embassy publishing a picture from Command & Conquer: Generals.
The picture was meant to be for terrorists supplies in Syria, yet the ridiculous situation led many gamers to go and reply to that tweet with even more silly pictures from Wolfenstein 3D, Minecraft and more. The funny thing is that this isn’t the first time the Russian Embassy in UK publishes weird pictures, as it previously even used a picture for Nazi Zombies in a statement that Russia will continue to fight nazism.

The tweets are below. Authorities have apologized later on and stated that the image is for illustration only, but we’re still glad that the whole thing happened for us to get some laughs and giggles out of it.
