PC and Xbox players together at last thanks to Rocket League new update
The promised update is finally a reality. Rocket League is now fully cross-playable between Xbox and PC, making it the first title to utilize such feature. Have you been feeling lonely playing the game yourself on PC with your friend owning an Xbox One? worry no more, you can now kick his car’s rear whenever you want.
Rocket League developer Psyonix has revealed that PC and Xbox One players will now be able to join and compete against one another in online play. PS4 version is already cross-play enabled with PC, so that makes Rocket League one of the first titles where PC gamers can play with both of the other consoles.
Both public and private matches will now allow you to find players from a pool that includes players from both platforms, unless you turn the feature off in the options menu.
This feature will go live today at 3pm PT/ 6pm ET/ 10pm UTC.
