Reports say a new Xbox is in works and is 4 times more powerful than the One

Just when we thought that console wars are coming to an end. It looks like not only Sony is considering a new, more powerful console but Microsoft as well. New reports emerged to tell us that the new Xbox One will have tremendous power even outmatching the upcoming PS4K.

The new reports said that Microsoft will be revealing two new consoles this E3. The first is a Slim model of the original Xbox with a bigger HDD and lower price, while the second is a new Xbox codenamed “Scorpio” four times more powerful than the original One. Scorpion will also be upgradable, so this might mean it’s the last Xbox to be released by Microsoft.

The new console achieved 6 Teraflops in processing power which is even more than the Sony’s NEO 4.14TF. This could mean Microsoft will regain the throne of the most powerful console again. The main reason for the extra power is for the upcoming Oculus Rift support, which is set to rival Sony’s own solution PSVR this year.

We’ll have to wait for Microsoft’s confirmation at this year’s E3, June 13.
