E3 website reveals Xbox One VR category

With Sony’s PlayStation VR being just around the corner, we’ve been wondering what Microsoft’s approach to console VR will be. According to the E3 website we might be able to know what’s Microsoft’s move gonna be this year.

A new category by the name of Xbox One VR has been added to E3’s website with four developers registered. The companies that have registered are Rebellion, Maximum Games, Readily Information Company, and 3DRudder.

Rebellion is the developer behind the Battlezone VR remake for Oculus Rift and PS VR, so it might that this is a possible VR title for the Xbox One. This fuels the rumors that the upcoming, more powerful Xbox One “Scorpion” will support the Oculus Rift, as the console already runs on Windows anyway and the two companies made a deal previously last year.

We’ll have to wait for E3 this June to find out more.
