
Resident Evil, Crash and Kratos return in Sony’s amazing showcase at E3
In what might have been one of the greatest E3 conferences in our day and age, Sony came out to the stage and put a show that won’t be forgotten in this year’s biggest gaming festival. God of War returning, Crash, and Resident Evil 7 are just few names from the big show.
The show kicked off with a full gameplay reveal of God of War that got represented on the PS4 in its full visual fidelity. Kratos is back, and he’s different. Not only did we see a glimpse of the game but we got a full 10 minutes that you can watch below.
Next up it was a new, mysterious title called Days Gone. The new title reminds us of The Last of Us but with the huge number of Dead Rising zombies. It’ll be interesting to hear more about the game after this gameplay reveal.
After that it was The Last Guardian’s role to take the spotlight. The game we’ve all been waiting for got a final release date of October 25 exclusively on PS4 and we got to see a new trailer.
Detroit: Become Human is one of the next big things the PS4 will offer. Developed by Heavy Rain studio the game looks marvelous and it has many branching story choices that will help you shape your own story.
A long gameplay reveal of what seemed at first a typical horror game revealed that it was in fact the return of Resident Evil. Resident Evil 7 is going back to the dark roots and it’s full VR compatible on the PS4. The demo was released for free to all PS Plus owners so check out yourself.
Speaking of VR, there were a number of VR announcements for upcoming and dedicated games like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare/Modern Warfare remastered, Batman: Arkham VR, Final Fantasy XV and more.
Crash is back. Sony didn’t shy away from the reveal and went full Crash to confirm the rumors and we will get to play Crash 1,2 and 3 fully remade for the PS4, as well as a crash character for Skylanders game.
The show ended with two major announcements. The first was the first trailer of Kojima’s first game after leaving Konami last year and it looks like Norman Reedus is back for it again. The other was for Insomniac new Spider Man game. Watch them both:
