Virtus.Pro replaces LGD Gaming at ESL One Frankfurt
It looks like LGD Gaming sadly won’t be able to attend the major Dota 2 tournament in Frankfurt this year due to health reasons. Thus, an invitation to Virtus.Pro was sent to replace it in the upcoming matches.
We looked towards the European qualifiers for a stand-in and we are happy to announce that Virtus.Pro, who came in as third place behind Vega Squadron and Na’Vi, have accepted the invitation. However, they will be travelling to Frankfurt without their carry player ALOHADANCE to begin with, as his visa is still pending. At the earliest, he will receive it on Friday, June 17th, meaning he would miss the first day of group stage and join up with his team for the main event in the Commerzbank Arena.
Playing in his place as a stand-in will be NoDigitty’s Khezu. Should ALOHADANCE not receive his visa on time for ESL One Frankfurt, Khezu will play all tournament games for Virtus.Pro.
We wish the players affected a speedy recovery and we are saddened not to see them in action in Germany.
