SK Gaming gets disqualified from ELEAGUE for this reason
It looks like the new CS: GO squad at SK Gaming is having a rough start with the current disqualification from ELEAGUE, only few days after being acquired from Luminosity Gaming.
The TBS-broadcast tournament organizers have announced that SK Gaming is no longer qualified to compete at ELEAGUE with both of its new players and new ones. The disqualification was solely because of the team’s roster change, which is something against the ELEAGUE rulebook.
The rules say that every team has to declare the five players squad before the season starts by five days. SK Gaming had recently acquired Luminosity’s CS: GO squad, so they couldn’t do that.
SK Gaming were replaced by Gambit Gaming for the current season so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see how the new members perform in the competitive scene under the SK Gaming flag/T-shirt.
