StarCraft HD is in development according to reports

One of the most important strategy games in the history of video games might be getting the remaster treatment, based on multiple reports.

Sources indicated that we may indeed be seeing a StarCraft HD edition in September at StarCraft 2 World Championship Series, with a full reveal of details at BlizzCon 2016 in November.

It’s not that strange of an announcement considering that Blizzard said previously that it will continue working on StarCraft projects being one of the most important games to the company. Also, the timing would be just like last year’s surprise announcement of World of Warcraft’s new expansion Legacy of the Void.

We’ll be awaiting Blizzard’s official words on this.
