Unforgettable moments we lived at our Dota 2’s Online Summer Cup 2016
Excitement, Anticipation, Challenge, and Thrill. These were the keywords that took the highlights at this year’s Dota 2 Summer Cup that our team organized during the past few weeks.
The curtains were officially closed last week with an amazing grand final between “Bendover” from Egypt and “E-Lab” from Lebanon. These two teams proved to us the amount of skill we have in the region that are waiting for competition eagerly. The teams deserved to reach the final after a great performance during the 54 team tournament that gathered teams from all around the Middle East for Valve’s famous game Dota 2.
Even though these two teams showed some outstanding results, it was the newcomers that surprised us the most as “New World Order” and “Jordanian Pandas” are now two teams not to be messed with. The third and fourth place teams respectively gave the top finalists a run for their money at the semi finals and proved their own skills.
Prize pool of a 10.000 Dirhams was cut for the winning teams as following:
- E-Lab: 5.000 Dirhams
- Bendover: 2.500 Dirhams
- New World Order: 1.500 Dirhams
- Jordanian Pandas: 1.000 Dirhams
