Esports training is “inhumane” claims ELEAGUE host

Esports players training has become a controversial topic currently with how cruel it can get for some teams pushed by their management to do their best. The followed mentality is that the more you play, the better you’ll get.

Richard Lewis, a famed esports journalist who now hosts and runs the televised TBS show, E-League stood up to talk against strict training that lasts for more than ten hours a day. He’s known for speaking his mind and he’s now expressed his thoughts on the hours that players train.

Responding to the ESPN journalist known as Fionn, he questions whether the hours worked by professional LoL players is healthy, claiming that burnout and short careers are down to awful training schedules. He continues on to praise the likes of Team EnVyUs who put player health above cutting costs with their new office facility.
