Is it the end for Middle East’s Dota 2 Classico?

If you have been following the Dota 2 scene in the region lately you probably have heard of both the Lebanese E-Lab and Egyptian Bendover teams, as they’ve been leading the pack when it comes to competitions and tournaments which made us give their face-offs the name “Arabic Dota Classico”.

Today we have some good news and bad news. The bad news is that Bendover might be no more as it announced it will be disbanding and won’t compete anymore unless maybe in friendlies from time to time. However, good news is that not all is lost as two Bendover players, namely Jiang and Ar3a are moving to the rival E-Lab. Now, players moving from one team to another isn’t that alien but it is something new to see in the ME region, and we hope many would follow in order to survive disbands and pursue better opportunities.
