Black Ops 3 planned Orlando tournament cancelled
The last Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 competition for the year is now officially cancelled because of the alarming weather disaster expected to hit state of Florida.
UMG Orlando 2016 was the last stop for CoD pros to get a shot at the $100.000 prize, but the current state of emergency that Florida was put in because of Hurricane Matthew forced organizers to officially leave the thing behind.
In a statement released on their website, UMG said: “It is with regret that we announce that due to the hurricane that is anticipated hit Florida this weekend, UMG Orlando has been cancelled. Our thoughts are with the people of Florida and all people impacted by this storm front, we hope you stay safe.”
Refunds will be handled for all team passes and attendee passes. as for Black Ops 3 it seems that the game’s time in the Esports scene has ended and we will now be waiting to see what Infinite Warfare presents when it’s released later this year.
