OpTic Gaming takes home first premier tournament win with ELEAGUE Season 2

An excellent performance by the NA side put OpTic Gaming on the map as one of the best teams at CS: GO right now.

The finals had OpTic facing off against Danish team Astralis for the lion share of the $540,000 on the line in this big match, with the team managing to emerge victorious after a well-deserved win in 2 out of the 3 maps.

OpTic went back home with $400,000 leaving Astralis in the second place with $140,000. The mixed performance of the team at the start of this ELEAGUE season came back in the first third of the game as they struggled on Train 16-9, but the players had it back together and managed to take on Cobblestone then winning comfortably at Overpass 16-11 to be named the 1st place winners.

ELEAGUE Season 2 is the first big win for OpTic since formation, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these talented players.
