
Esports Middle East officially joins ESIC
Esports Middle East (ESME) is proud to announce that it has joined the Esports Integrity Coalition (ESIC). as the first recognized and approved esports organization in the Middle East and North Africa leading the rapid expansion of esports in MENA the region.
Esports Integrity Commissioner Ian Smith said, “It is gratifying that young esports organisations recognise the importance of creating a prominent and stable integrity foundation for their efforts. ESIC is looking forward to working with ESME to implement the ESIC Programme in esports in the MENA region and helping clean esports develop in this important and exciting part of the world.”
ESME’s Chief Operating Officer, Saeed Sharaf added: “We are proud to be a part of a cleaner, more organized future of Esports. Being a leading organizations for Esports in the Middle East region it’s our duty for the players to have the best anti cheating systems and rules to ensure everyone has an equal chance of winning provided they have the required skills to make it””
ESME will be translating the ESIC Programme into Arabic as a service to its community and together ESME and ESIC will devise an anti-corruption education programme specific to the MENA region.
Esports Integrity Coalation was established in 2016 to fight match manipulation and doping with multiple organization including ESL and Dreamhack for a better esports future.
