DreamHack announces new CS: GO Masters $250k event

It looks like CS: GO teams are in it for another big tournament this year, with DreamHack’s return to Sweden’s Malmö in its upcoming $250,000 event.

The tournament will take place from August 30th to September 3rd, DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017 will feature 16 teams with 8 teams being invited and a further 8 earning their spot through qualification.

This will be the second time that DreamHack has hosted a Masters tournament in the Malmö Arena. Last time it was NiP who took the crown for their home crowd, defeating Na’Vi 2-0 in the grand final.

In other news, Las Vegas Masters tournament will start on February 15th and run through till February 19th, with some of the top teams in the world in attendance including Major winners, Astralis.
