Gambit Gaming receives invite to Counter-Strike Summit tournament
Beyond the Summit, the organization behind the Counter-Strike Summit tournament taking place in Los Angeles, has announced that Gambit Gaming has received an invite to compete alongside some of the best teams in the world.
Alongside Cloud9, OpTic, EnVyus and SK Gaming, the Kazakhstani team is the fifth to be invited to the $100,000 event taking place in April 19-20.
Despite not being as big as the other teams, Gambit’s performance in the last few months has been something worth considering, especially when it managed to beat North, GODSENT, and FaZe Clan at ELEAGUE Major only to lose to Fnatic in the quarterfinals. Similar results were found at Dreamhack with another quarterfinal placement.
We will be waiting for more teams announcements for this Summit in the coming weeks.
