SK Gaming and Virtus.Pro taking the competition to football pitch

Mark the day on your calendar. July 10, night, is when Virtus.Pro is taking down SK Gaming in a one of a kind clash between the two teams. This time it’s not CS: GO, or virtually altogether, instead it’s a match in real football.

It all started some weeks ago when SK Gaming tweeted about the CS: GO roster playing some football. Pashabiceps from VP tweeted back at SK saying “guys Pls,we can show you in POLAND what is football .VP vs SK PRIZEPOOL 50 K $ 6vs6 stream included! Deal ?” and before long, it was ON with FalleN saying he’s putting another $50k from his own pocket, raising the prize to $100.

The managing partner of ESForce, Anton Cherepennikov, promised to inquire to ESL about the possibility of playing the match. Then the Vice President for ESL, Michal Blicharz, stepped in and asked for a date when the match would be played. And with the help of many, Anton Cherepennikov announced the match is now approved.

What’s left is for the two players to get their rosters in order to play in the most hyped game in esports history. We can’t wait!
