Overwatch player base reaches 30 million users

Blizzard’s Overwatch is really, really popular, at least that’s what the numbers say.

The competitive team shooter reached a new milestone yesterday after having only been released less than a year ago. Its player base now sits at more than 30 million right now. For comparison, the number was 25 three months ago.

Despite not saying whether it’s 30 million accounts or copies sold, both are incredible feats especially for a new franchise release. Over 17 million players are active monthly on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
