Gambit Esports and Immortals to DreamHack Open Austin grand finals

After three days of hard-fought matches in Austin it became clear; no North American teams in Dreamhack Open’s finals.

Both Gambit Esports and Immortals managed to reserve seats in the grand finals to compete on $50k prize. Despite the french super team being able to destroy the dreams of two North American teams, Cloud9 and Team Loquid, Gambit Esports proved to be a hard opponent at semi-finals, where the French failed to qualify for the big match ahead against Immortals.

On their side, Immortals managed to win Heroic despite having showed a great performance with the new young squad. Will the overall victory be Immortals’ or are Gambit coming with vengeance? we’ll know that soon.
