HTC 2v2 Invitational Ends With one Winner only
The 2v2 matches came to an end today after a long run of great moments, but only one team secured the greatest moment in the CS GO event HTC 2v2 Invitational and won $20,000 from prize pool.
G2 Esports were the crowned champions even though their start wasn’t that great, losing against Space Soldiers but they came back to a win against Team EnVyUs and Heroic with the same result 2_0 , moving from group stage into the playoffs with a surprisingly easy win against FaZe Clan to play their second match against The North duo René “cajunb” Borg and Philip “aizy” Aistrup who fought hard but lost in the end to gave G2 a spot in finals.
However this was not the last we’ve seen from North as they made a huge win against Space Soldiers to secure a spot in the finals to face G2 one again, Despite securing a victory off the bat, due to the fact that the team was hailing from the losers’ bracket the Danes needed two Bo3 victories in order to grab the invitational title. A convincing victory from the Danes was followed by a loss that subsequent mean G2 Esports had secured their second consecutive HTC Invitational title.
