k1ck player Ricardo “rmn” Oliveira has been given a permanent ban by the Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) software.

which he contested on the grounds that, upon launching the game, he only received a message about being banned by Overwatch, the community-based review system set up by Valve.

After over 48 hours with a VAC ban, which also translated into a FACEIT ban, Ricardo “rmn” Oliveira has now been cleared of any wrongdoing. On Steam, the player received an automatic message that reads: “Your VAC ban in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been removed.”
