The Danish giants are invited to ESL One New York
The Danish giants are the fifth team confirmed for the North American event ESL One New York , joining the previously invited quartet of FaZe,Natus Vincere, SK Gaming and Virtus.pro.
Astralis, who are ranked second in the world, were recently in attendance at PGL Major Krakow 2017. They raised eyebrows by defeating SK, the No.1 team in the world, in the quarter-finals before falling short against eventual champions Gambit in the last-four stage.

ESL One New York will run from September 14-17 at the Barclays Arena, in Brooklyn. Only one more invite to this eight-team tournament remains undetermined, with the final two spots being filled through qualifiers, held in Europe and North America.
Meanwhile, ESL has announced that the event will have $250,000 on offer – the same as last year’s tournament, which saw Natus Vincere lift the trophy.
