swag will stand in for Cloud9 in this tournament
Cloud9 has announced that it will find a new player who will be a substitute for Timothy “autimatic” Ta in the next round of the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive events.
Timothy “autimatic” Ta will not be able to attend the main squad because he is not available in the region at this time, said Jake “Stewie2K” Yip, a player from the team.
That’s why the famous American player Braxton “swag” Pierce joined the squad to be present with them in the North American qualifiers for ESL One New York.
This player is considered one of the best players in America but was banned in January 2015 by Valve after a betting scandal led to the banning of his three iBUYPOWER teammates during that time.
A long time after the ban, several championships decided to lift their ban on players, and ESL recently said it lifted the ban on players from the January 2015 incident.
As some of us know, this is not the first participation of swag with Cloud9, but it was with them at cs_summit last April and helped the team finish in fourth place with a solitary performance of 1.17, the second highest in the squad.
Swag confirmed that his new team had treated him well in the past and expressed gratitude for winning the Fragadelphia 11 championship with Ownage in a recent interview on all of these matters.
The Cloud9 lineup now consists of the following :
Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert
Mike “shroud” Grzesiek
Jake “Stewie2K” Yip
Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham
Braxton “swag” Pierce
