Morocco, Iraq and Egypt qualifiers reveal the advancing teams to the WCA 2017 MENA main event
A thrilling weekend packed some tough competition throughout the region in Dota 2, as Iraq, Egypt and Morocco played their respective qualifiers to identify the teams advancing to WCA 2017 MENA region qualifiers in October
Egyptian qualifiers had some intense fights showcased by a couple of professional teams like Bend Over, the team that proved its worth in the finals against No Fear ending in two games won for the former. However, just by reaching the finals No Fear is going to have a second chance at the region qualifiers as it advances along with Bend Over.
Things were not less heated on the Iraqi side, as both the finalists Scratch the Surface and Kings had a great match with close results of one game won for each team. Only one could come out on the top seed, and that was StS after beating Kings in the third Best of Three round. Both teams now join several top Arab teams in the WCA 2017 region qualifiers.
Last, but certainly not least we had Morocco with BPlease420 and Noobies in Team in the grand final. The first two games were divided between the two teams but alas the win was on BP420 side. NiT showed great performance by reaching the finals, and so it also advances to the main event.
Aforementioned teams join the following teams at the MENA region qualifiers: Orcus and DogsDota (Jordan)، Team Lebanon and Team Anime (Lebanon)، Game of Thrones (Kuwait)، Five Libyans (Libya)، Team Loveless and 2K Players (UAE)، Train your Brain and Raze (Tunisia)، and Smash and Gremory Household (KSA).
