Next Generation wins WCA 2017 CS:GO MENA regional grand final

Today we bid farewell to the final leg of the MENA regional Qualifiers of the World Championship WCA 2017 of the shooting game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Today we saw the final battle for the title of the winner, but both Next Generation and Aimers alive were able to reach the main event of the World Championship.

In any case, the last battle between them took place in the Cobblestone map. Aimers alive tried hard to control the battle and won, but stopped at nine rounds because their opponent prevented them from making any progress and managed to win the first map at the score of 9-9.

The second map Inferno was the heaviest conflict between the two, both aware of what is at stake, and the prize money waiting for the winning team, so we had to get a draw in the rounds.

We went on for a couple of rounds and Aimers alive somehow managed to get a victory of some 19  rounds- but Next Generation was the winner of the day with a spectacular 22-19 victory.

congrats to Next Generation who won the first place and a prize of 80 thousand dirhams, and of course the effort of Aimers alive didn’t go to waste, but won second place with a prize money of 40 thousand dirhams, as each of them eligible for the main event.

The last game in this tournament was played to determine the winner of the third spot between Spotnet and Nasr eSports. The first map was on Mirage and 19-16 for Nasr eSports after additional rounds.

The second map was Cobblestone, which ended in favor of Nasr eSports with a score of 16-8 and were officially considered the winner of the third place and a prize of AED 16,000.
