Mercedes Benz CS:GO Cup announced with $50K prize pool
This is not the first time we have heard about Mercedes and its luxury cars in the world of electronic sports, as it had a clear engagement recently.
HellRaisers have been invited to attend the Mercedes Benz CS:GO Cup the tournament’s organizers have revealed.
The Kirill “ANGE1” Karasiow-led team, who are currently ranked 15th in the world, are the second confirmed side for the Portuguese event, joining the new Tempo Storm squad, featuring local veteran Ricardo “fox” Pacheco.
HellRaisers recently made headlines by securing a spot at the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals after placing seventh in the regular season. This will be the team’s first LAN event since the Bets.Net Masters, where they claimed the title after beating North in the final.
The Mercedes Benz CS:GO Cup will run from June 9-10 at Altice Arena, in Lisbon, as part of Moche XL ESPORTS. With $50,000 on the line, the tournament will feature four invitees, who will be joined by the top-placed side of an Iberian qualifier and by the winner of the Mercedes-Benz Master League Portugal.
