Here’s the second and last SEA Southeast Asia team qualified to DOTA 2 TI8

Today was the final battle between TNC Predator and TNC Tigers in regional qualifiers for the final spot allocated of Southeast Asia for the biggest event DOTA 2 of the year The International 8 (TI8).

TNC Predator defeated TNC Tigers with 2-1 to claim the last spot of Southeast Asia in TI8.

On the heels of disappointing losses by TNC Predator halfway through the Dota 2 Season, they found themselves in a precarious position after showing mediocre performance on their Qualifiers. A roster shuffle was inevitable and the team parted ways with their former Captain Theeban “1437” Siva.

They had gone with an all Filipino roster with Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios filling the void left by 1437 who became the Position 2 for the team. Meanwhile, Carlo “Kuku” Palad reverted back to his old support role and captained the all Pinoy squad. It was a long journey for TNC Predator as they competed for the DPC points and one game was all that it took for them to qualify in the International.

TNC Predator Roster:

  • Philippines Marc Polo Luis “Raven” Fausto.
  • Philippines Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios.
  • Philippines Sam “SamH” Hidalgo Sam.
  • Philippines Timothy “Tims” Randrup.
  • Philippines Carlo “Kuku” Palad.
  • Philippines Nico “Eyyou” Barcelon (Coach).

For remember, TNC Predator is the second and the last team to represent Southeast Asia in DOTA 2 TI8 this year.
