CS: GO superstar “s1mple” almost joined FaZe Clan
You could imagine how the CS: GO would’ve been if Natus Vincere’s and one of CS’s most prominent talents would have joined the FaZe Clan team, as Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev revealed that it was almost true at one time
In the “Ask me Anything” session on the Reddit site, “s1mple” answered fans about a number of questions, most notably one of them about old rumors about joining FaZe Clan, one of the best CS teams: GO. At this time, everyone is surprised by the “s1mple” response that this is true, as the team called him but decided to choose Na’Vi.
That means that “s1mple” had a really crucial choice, but we could not be sure how long it took. It may be before the promotion of Finn “karrigan” Andersen to the team leader over the past year with the Fabien lineup “kioShiMa” Fiey and Aleksi “allu” Jalli, or perhaps even when Nikola joins “NiKo” Kovac and Olof “olofmeister” Kjajber and the beginning of the best team In the world era.
It is interesting to imagine how CS: GO landscape was to be and how different from what is now due to the transfer of one player of the weight of “s1mple”; Na’Vi may not have a global significance, or perhaps Ladislav “GuardiaN” to be a specialist sniper in the squad. That was also the case for FaZe, who was almost as strong as we could imagine with the excellent Ukrainian player.
Oleksandr is on his way to becoming the world’s best player of the year with a chance to beat Marcelo “coldzera” David, who kept the award for two years before falling in 2018. Na’Vi has outperformed MIBR in the rankings over the past few months with Wins in StarSeries S5, CS: GO Asia, and ESL One Cologne.
Ironically, the “s1mple” left Na’Vi to the MIBR early this year, but he refrained from saying that he did not want to leave Na’Vi as a losing team, and that he wanted to finish what he started with this squad. Indeed, the player has achieved impressive results with his team during the previous period, and are now looking to compete strongly for the title DreamHack Masters Stockholm at the end of this month.
