Clash Royale League World Finals details revealed with $400k cash prize
Smartphone games are no longer just a short-term game anymore, and they are proving once again to be competitive games with huge prizes, with the details of this year’s Clash Royale finals, which will offer a huge prize money to winners.
Clash Royale League World Cup will take place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles next month, putting six of the world’s best teams in a fierce battle for the world champions and the biggest share of $ 400,000 in prize money.
The tournament is hosted by Supercell itself, in collaboration with OGN and with the introduction of Google Play, where all competition events will be live. The teams were selected from three regions – China, Asia and Western countries – with two teams representing each of the three regions. The participating teams are:
- CRL West: SK Gaming and Team Liquid
- CRL China: Nova Esports and W. EDG Mobile
- CRL Asia: OGN Entus and FAV Gaming
Last year’s champions eSports will seek their second title as the best Chinese team in the competition, while the Asian and Western regions will present a strong competition this time, especially with those teams showing great performances at the World Cyber Games earlier this year overtook Nova.
“We were so humbled by the response to last year’s inaugural CRL World Finals, so we’re overjoyed to bring Worlds stateside for another thrilling competition,” said Clash Royale League commissioner Chris Cho. “We’ve been working hard since last year’s event to make this an even better experience for the Clash Royale community. We can’t wait to see what the world’s top players have in store for both us and fans as they showcase their talents on one of Los Angeles’ most legendary stages.”
The competition will kick off on December 7, so be sure to follow the official YouTube channel of Clash Royale Esports to watch live and more.
