PlayStation consoles outsell Xboxs by 3:1

PlayStation continues to rise in sales as Microsoft’s Xbox struggle to compete, as the latest financial numbers from both sides show.

Latest sales figures from Sony show that PS3 and PS4 have sold 3.5 million units in the first quarter of the financial year increasing the sales in Sony’s games division by 95.7%, while the rival’s Xbox 360 and Xbox One shipped 1.1 million consoles worldwide during the same time period, according to Microsoft’s figures.

PS4 and Xbox One have been competing since their release last year with the PS4 dominating consoles market as it has been the number one selling console in America for several months in a row selling over 8 million consoles worldwide.
